Pop superstar Ricky Martin welcomed his twin sons, Valentino and Matteo, via surrogate in August 2008.
The Livin’ La Vida Loca singer – who now raises the twins with newlywed husband Jwan Yosef – recalled his path to fatherhood, saying that he first felt the urge to start a family many years ago.
“OK, what are my options? Am I going to adopt? I just sat in front of the computer, doing research, until I found surrogacy, and I was like: ‘Woah! This looks really interesting,’” Martin has shared. “I interviewed so many people that were part of this beautiful world, and I decided this was going to be my way.”
Would he like to add to the family? Martin admitted he’d love to have “a daddy’s girl” one day soon.

The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, 70, and wife Sally Wood, 39, welcomed their twin daughters — Gracie Jane and Alice Rose — on May 30, 2016.

Pop supertar Madonna recently adopted 5-year-old daughters Estere and Stella from Malawi.

In February, the singer announced her adoption news, saying, “I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible.”

The Beachbody star, 39, and his husband hired a surrogate mother to carry their baby boys, who arrived early at 32 weeks gestation.
Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego-Saldana:
Avatar star Zoe Saldana and her husband, Italian artist Marco Perego-Saldana, welcomed their twin sons – Cy and Bowie — on Nov. 27, 2014.
The Star Trek actress has opened up about delivering the twins prematurely via emergency C-section.
“The boys came at 32 weeks,” Saldana shared. “They found protein in my urine; my platelets crashed. I didn’t qualify for an epidural, so I delivered under general anesthetic. I didn’t even meet them until a day later.”
After their birth, the twins spent time in the NICU.
“Looking back, I think the boys were 3 or 4 months old, and one morning I woke up with just this flood of emotions,” said the actor. “[My husband] had them, too, and we were able to have our deconstruction session in the bathroom while they were napping, to say to each other, ‘Holy s—, did we come close to it all changing forever?’ We allowed ourselves to have a moment of ‘poor us.’ And that was it. Then somebody cried, and it was ‘Got to go!’ ”

The couple talked the science behind the birth of the fraternal twins, revealing each father fertilized one egg and the twins were carried and born via one surrogate.
Burtka explained that the twins were conceived by “two eggs, two embryos, one of mine, one of his.”
The couple knew the surrogate, whom Burtka described as “more like the oven.” And they found an anonymous egg donor through a donation bank where they were able to research her personal and medical history.
Céline Dion & René Angélil:
Grammy Award-winning singer Céline Dion and her late husband René Angélil welcomed their twin sons — Nelson and Eddy — on Oct. 23, 2010.
The Canadian pop superstar recently shared birthday greetings for the twins.

In June, famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo surprised fans and announced his twins’ arrival.

Since then, the Real Madrid star, 32, has shared several snapshots of daughter Eva Maria and son Mateo.
The soccer star has not revealed the identity of the twins’ mother.

It was triple the congratulations for Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh last year.
The Happy hitmaker, 44, and his model-designer wife, 37, welcomed triplets in early January 2017.
The triplets – who were carried and birthed by Lasichanh – were “healthy and happy” at the time of their birth.
No further information – including the baby’s genders or names – has been announced.
